Alan K. Mauser, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Mauser is originally from Chelmsford, Massachusetts. He is a 1979 graduate of Clark University and 1984 cum laude graduate of the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (formerly the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine). He completed his surgical residency program at the Humana Specialty Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Mauser has been in practice in Louisville since 1985.

Dr. Mauser is certified in foot and ankle surgery as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of the American and Kentucky Podiatric Medical Associations. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Mauser maintains his primary office location at 2525 Bardstown Road. A second office is located at Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, Kentucky.

Dr. Mauser lives in Louisville with his four children: Nathan, Rachel, Joshua, and David.

Sarah M. Voelkel, DPM, AACFAS

Associate, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons

Dr. Voelkel is originally from the small southern Indiana town of New Salisbury. She is a graduate of Indiana University and received her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. She completed her surgical residency training at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Dr. Voelkel lives in Louisville with her husband, A.J., and their three children Wyatt, Ava and Faith. She enjoys spending time with her family, running, hiking, and cheering for her Hoosiers at basketball games.
